Client Description

I finally took the time to organize better my client tracking spreadsheet and, in the process, I’ve analyzed my client base.  To date, I have worked on 367 projects for a total of 84 clients, meaning that roughly 77% of the projects I’ve worked on have been for repeat clients.  I am amazed by that statistic – I know it probably sounds like a “humble brag” to say this, but, while I knew that I had a lot of repeat clients, I did not realize that they constituted so much of my client base.  I am very grateful that they feel my work is good enough to justify coming back to me with more work !!!

And those clients have been a diverse group – using family names to indicate either generic ethnic origin or country of origin, I’ve determined that my client base has to date included 4 Arabic individuals, 11 Chinese, 1 Costa Rican, 1 Indian (not Native American), 5 Koreans, 5 Latino(a)s, 1 native of Madagascar, 1 Thai, 37 (generic) Americans and 1 Japanese.  Again, I am very pleased to have worked with so many very different individuals, each one possessing unique strengths and a unique perspective.

Perhaps not surprisingly, 69% of my first-time clients have been female (again, working from given names) and 31% have been male.  My repeat client group has skewed even more female (87%) with males comprising only 13%.  I’m not going to try to make the proverbial soup from too few ingredients here by inferring something from these few statistics, but, again, I’m grateful that my clients think my work is good.
